After a long and successful career in banking and financial services, Jim entrusted SRB Financial Planning with the care of his clients upon retirement. However, his passion for client relationships and the profession itself has seen him remain closely connected to the business in a consultancy role.
Jim continues to provide valuable support and guidance to both the team and many of the clients he has worked with over the years. Known for his approachable nature and strong relationships, he remains a trusted confidant to many clients who value his experience, reassurance, and down-to-earth approach.
His longstanding industry knowledge and personal connections perfectly reflect SRB’s commitment to building trusted, long-term relationships.
Outside of work, Jim enjoys spending time with his wife Cathy and friends, travelling, playing football, and — according to the team — eating a remarkable amount of chocolate. When he’s not away on holiday, there’s a good chance he’ll be found on the phone having a chat with clients or the wider SRB team.
